While I almost had to reschedule this trip with my Siberian Husky “River” I’m so glad in the end we said screw work and jumped in the vehicle to head down the road to South Lake Tahoe and leave the sweltering heat of Vegas behind us. I could not have asked for a more dog friendly and human welcoming from the crew at Fireside Lodge. They truly were phenomenal and River loved the fact that she had friends waiting to hang out with her everyday when she came back from her hiking adventures with mom. Honestly the best trip I could have planned to escape the hell that is my life right now. We can’t wait to come back!!
